Ticket from WhatsApp, a Chrome extension by AF Business Consulting. Last updated September 5, 2026.
The short version. This extension sends the message you select to your own monday.com board using your own credentials. AF Business Consulting operates no server for this extension, receives none of your data, and stores nothing about you.
What the extension does
Ticket from WhatsApp adds a Ticket button to incoming messages on WhatsApp Web. When you click that button on a specific message, the extension creates an item on the monday.com board you configured.
What is read, and when
Nothing is read until you click the Ticket button on a message you choose. At that moment, and only for that one message, the extension reads:
the text of the message
the sender name shown by WhatsApp Web
the timestamp shown by WhatsApp Web
The extension does not read, index, log or transmit any other message, chat, contact list or attachment. It does not run in the background collecting anything. It has no access to any site other than WhatsApp Web.
Where that information goes
Only to monday.com, over an encrypted connection, using the personal API token you entered yourself. It becomes an item on the board you selected, visible to whoever already has access to that board under your organization's monday.com permissions.
Your data is not sent anywhere else. There is no analytics service, no tracking, no advertising network and no third party processor.
What is stored, and where
The following are stored in your own browser profile using Chrome's extension storage:
your monday.com personal API token
your board ID and the mapping of its columns
your default Business, Type, Source number and starting Status
your monday.com user ID and display name, used to assign tickets to you
These stay on your device and sync only through your own Chrome profile if you have Chrome sync enabled. AF Business Consulting cannot see them. Removing the extension removes them.
Data we collect
None. AF Business Consulting operates no backend for this extension and receives no data from it.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use or transfer user data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Your control
Stop the extension from sending anything by not clicking the Ticket button.
Disconnect it at any time by clearing your token in Settings.
Remove all stored data by uninstalling the extension from chrome://extensions.
Revoke its access to monday.com at any time by regenerating your personal API token in monday.com.
Third party services
The extension communicates with monday.com. Your use of monday.com is governed by monday.com's own privacy policy. WhatsApp is not contacted by this extension in any way; the extension only reads the page you already have open.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date above.
